I really hope so! I don't want like a significant drop because that was literally one of the best episodes of AHS.

Wow. Such a good episode. I enjoyed that even more than the first one.

Some top highlights:
- Gaga's acting has really improved but I prefer when she doesn't have as much an accent but apart from that she was great.
- I died at the 1970s flashback with Gaga and the song that was chosen to play in the background
- Evan Peters was absolutely incredible in this episode as his character.
- I love the laundress
- Finally, that sense of tension and horror was seeping through this episode. It was completely lacking in Freakshow.

I think decrease too. I see a lot of people on different forums complaining about the length.

I don't care about the ratings, this episode was brilliant.

Although I believe it'll be a dramatic drop from the premiere. I don't even know if #AHSHotel trended on Twitter. I know Evan Peters and The Countess did.

WOW they actually gave Evan Peters an original character and he excels at it. Proof that he really didn't need to be as basic as they made him in FS and Coven.

Evan Peters and Mare Winningham saved that episode! Damn everything is so extra! The cinematography, the musical score, it would've worked better if the story was actually captivating

The Hotel Cortez is inspired by the Hotel Cecil which has a dark history which includes several suicides, murders, and was stayed at by serial killers Richard Ramirez a.k.a. the Night Stalker and Jack Unterweger. The Hotel Cecil made news recently with the mysterious death of Elisa Lam (to whom season five is dedicated).
