I would love to be optipistic like you, but i follow Ratings analysis for like 3-4 years now and this is BAD.

The fact that FOX can take into consideration DVR/streaming numbers can give us some hope, but those viewers are not watching ads so i don't know

The problem is this show is appealing to younger viewers who aren't watching live. It's mostly online watching I bet. Plus I don't trust shady Nielson ratings.

Research? I am following ratings for TV shows for like 3-4 years.
And the truth is live ratings are just terrible. And even L+3,L+7 ratings are decreasing fast.

It might have been #2 on it's premiere week, but it dropped super fast.



But considering most shows are decreasing fast, streaming/DVR numbers will probably become more considered in decision-making, but as i said before problem is that Companies that pay for ads (and those pay for our shows) don't really care for those numbers, since those viewers do not watch ads.

But i believe that will have to change somehow, since Live ratings are falling HARD this fall already



i LOVe this show, it is my #1 new show this fall and i pray it would get renewed, but Nielsen Ratings do not lie

I dont bileave the right demo is watching the tv show.(well the demo fox expected). Most everyone who watches this stream it online. To bad networks care about ads.

Umm .. maybe. That plus Ryan Murphy's clout might save it in that they'll give it another season and retool the audience that they're aiming it for, or certain aspects of the show itself. If the gauntlet falls it'll be after the hiatus.
It's unlikely to be an awards favourite because it skews so young so that won't save it.

Click and DVR numbers don't really factor into the equation because of ads.

It's really a toss up whether it gets cancelled or not. It'll really be down to office politics if it stays steady from this point onwards.

Also we need to compare it to the other FOX shows on tuesday nights. That's what it's in competition with ratings wise.

I know right? It's funny, at the moment the two shows that look like they were tailor-made for streaming channels like Netflix of Amazon were really struggling following a promo push.

I'm talking Scream Queens and Crazy Ex Girlfriend.
Frankly if SQ was an Amazon Prime show right now it'd be seen as a breakout hit. It's a shame because atm airing the standard was seems to be relegating it to a cult status.
