No it's because I thought we left "xD" in the 00s where it belongs but every time you remind me it exists I get PTSD.

I have literally been making fun of the use of xD for over 6 years now, alongside the horrid :3, ^_^ and company. It adds a little dummy'd kick and is supposed to let people know "hey, this part is meant to be taken stupidly!"
