It's definitely the complex. She loves Beyonce, but since she's supposed to be in "competition" with her, she's constantly drawing those comparisons herself. And because she...and no one else for that matter... can be Beyonce, it chips away at her self-esteem a little.
Otherwise she wouldn't feel the need to BLAST achievements with Beyonce's name in the title.
So when she says stuff like...
I kinda believe that it's more than a friendly compliment. But how she views their dynamic.
Especially because they actually play the music that they wrote with instruments.
