They did, and when she sent TIHWD instead they were like "wtf is this" and refused to play it in protest.

That's why it peaked at #24, because it had next to no radio support despite having similar sales to Birthday with far stronger streams. Which goes to show that airplay has too strong of an influence on the charts. The GP don't even get to pick what the radio plays, thus it shouldn't have as much impact on the chart as sales and streaming.
