I guess one thing that could turn people off for this season is I can see Ryan taking it a bit extra with the gore for no apparent reason. But, we'll see.

Lady Gaga was fantastic She is no Meryl Streep, but she is just fine I mean you could never watch her and be like "she is such a bad actress" she is just fine I love it
Wes Bentley is fine, same for Chloey ( how do I spell her name ? srry)
Kathy Bates and Sarah are the best acting wise, Gaga's and Sarah's characters seem to be the most interesting as of now And Matt as well.
That was great, I loved it. Gaga's acting was good, I think she'll get better. She's probably eased herself into her role, so I can imagine by the time we see the episodes she's filming now vs. this one, she'll be better. The sex scene was hot! Great first episode, if I was to rank premieres, I'd say:
Asylum > Hotel > Coven > Freak Show > Murder House. Looking forward to the rest of the season!

Her and Ryan both confirmed she was doing the whole season. The cast are only about halfway through filming the season, so she'll still have work to do.
Monsters kinda doing the most here to make it seem greater than it is. There was too much of nothing going on & didn't get good until the last ten minutes when they started hinting at things. I think the season will get better as it goes on though. Just a messy, bloated & lackluster premiere.
The problem with Gaga's acting is that she's forcing a character when she doesn't have to. Lady Gaga is a character herself, she could literally just play herself & it'd be much better. She also has an accent that doesn't need to be there & it comes & goes.

Where? Tbh i have seen Gaga fans saying shes ok and bearable not more than that. I think the people who doesnt like gaga are doing the most.

i didn't think gaga was bad at all. yeah, sure, she's not the best actress the world has ever seen, but i thought she was decent in her role and she shows potential.
the show itself, however, is crap. great production value and mostly good actors wasted on embarrassingly clumsy direction and even worse screenplays. it's sad to see that as an anthology show they never really made the effort to revamp and tell really great stories.
All TV shows should establish what the plot is after the first episode (eg: We knew the plot of Scream Queens was there is a red devil killing people on campus and we are going to eventually find out who it is).
Hotel failed to establish the plot and that's something crucial for a first episode.
The only 'bad' moment (but then again, it wasn't cringeworthy so it was actually decent), was her scene with Cheyenne. Her face was like totally frozen, no facial expressions.
Strangely, as soon as Cheyenne left and she was with his kid, she was already better. The scene in the hallway, too, she seems too focused, but it was still decent. Anyhow, great episode.
