There are 100% secret producers. We didn't know about Boys like Girls Frontman until last minute and she couldn't shut up about anything in 2013, so imagine how much she's keeping under wraps this time.

I don't mind Avril working with David Hodges again. If the both of them are able to keep their collective heads on straight, they just might serve some great Hot AC material, like A Thousand Years and Because Of You.

Epic just doesn't have the funds to allow her to do that, sis.
If Avril called up, say, Savan Kotecha, he'll demand from her team more $$$$ than what Avril's worth.

Well if u live a rockstar life and gonna work with a rockstar (a current husband) of course my expectations are higher than getting basic **** like Bitchin' Summer, Sippin on Sunshine, YASNY, 17 or Let Me Go. That being said, god forbid her giving us something like "I Always Get What I Want" ever again too.

I've come to realize that her "rockstar pose" is just that, a pose that nobody really buys, not even herself or most of her fans. Sonically, it was still present somehow with TBDT, which still contained some edgy, pop-punk stuff, despite being one of the most mainstream/commercial/manufactured album/eras. If she really was or wanted to be a rockstar, she would have constantly released "rock" material and show it on stage further than strumming a few chords or doing the He Wasn't "up and down" moves every tour.
After UMS, she had a perfect opportunity to establish herself as a rockstar, but she started to throw it away with TBDT and its poppiness. GL wasn't too pop, but it wasn't edgy or rock either, and then AL came and she hasn't shown her "inner rockstar" or whatever. I hope she stops with the "I'm a rockstar" **** if she doesn't deliver accordingly

I don't know what I find funnier, that you think TBDT is any more manufactured than her first two albums, or that it took you more than 0.5 seconds to realize that she wasn't a "rockstar".
She was packed and presented to us from day one, especially those first two or so years. If anything, she's at her "realest" now, which is probably why we can see what a sloppy artist she really is.

Avrl Lavigne has always been a pop-rock girl (like Alanis Morissette), she was never punk. Avril just needs to work with different people, she tends to work with the same damn people all the time and it's getting stale. If there's one thing I like about Avril, she manages to keep that pop-rock sound in her songs and I think she should keep doing that sound, she's literally the only female artist at the moment that's doing pop-rock, really, everyone else has jumped on the disco-dance or urban bandwagon.
Also 17 is an awesome song and it should totally get a music video!

She needs to put the bad blood between her and The Matrix, Butch Walker and Chantal Kreviazuk past her. Or the better option, find new writers and producers to work with. She needs to find inspiration to do something new with her pop rock brand. I agree with StarlightShimmers. She needs to keep her pop rock brand (not that she needed this affirmation from her fans because most likely she will).

There are tons of producers in Music Industry,
and they just need CA$H
and they're ready to work with anyone (a flop artist or not)
seeing Ep!c's budget I don't think that's going to happen.
