The phrase "The Queen of Pop" is meaningless on this site. Everyone labels their fave as such when few if any mentioned are deserving of the title. ATRL in a nutshell.
I agree. We all know Lady Gaga is the only queen of Pop but ATRL users culturally appropriate the phrase and strip it of its meaning. It's so oppressive.

Drake ain't ever touching Phlegm's legacy. The latter actually made a huge impact on hip-hop and proved that you don't have to be black to make your mark on hip-hop. He also crafted an extremely unique image that had not been seen before and has yet to been replicated ever since.
Wtf has Flake done that 90% of the rap community doesn't already do on a regular basis? I can probably find 50 other songs released this year alone that sound just like Jumpman, Back To Back, Charged Up, 0 To 100, etc. I'd like to know who else in 2000 was releasing albums like Marshall Mathers LP other than Em.

Drake has been trying too much to seem "hard" from NWTS onwards that I don't think totally works on him. He's also bulked up and all that. I know it's a running meme and what not, but I like when his music is more vulnerable. I think that's where his musicality shines.
Take Care & From Time are easily his best two songs.

There's plenty of more things crazier to be stanning for, and ATRL faves are prime examples. No need to worry about why someone likes Drake.

I could justify why I like Taylor Swift - songwriting, personality, relatability, business & marketing skills, persistence & hard work. Why cannot someone justify why they like Drake?
