The Ugly Truth 8/10
I cried out of laughter.
It may start as the typical romantic comedy, it may have the typical elements of a romantic comedy, but it's so much more than that. Not because it breaks any parameters, but because the 'sketches' are very well done and are simply hilarious. I keep lovin' Katherine Heigl but I do need she needs to step up and do a dramatic role. I'm sure she can pull some big awards nominations, as Felicity Huffman did with Transamerica.
The Hangover: 7.5/10
It was a really fun movie. I love the soundtrack. However, compared to other comedies released this year it's not THAT good. It's doing amazing at the box office, though.
The plot of the movie at times can get confusing and the movie left me with some unanswered questions. However, after the movie wraps up and you really think about it, really analyze it, Seven Pounds is a pretty good movie.
