That 7 year break was the best thing to happen to Janet.

She's been through SO MUCH in the last 7 years, she finally has something to sing about now.

She's not only singing about being in love like she did with Damita Jo, 20 Y.O. and All for You. No wonder she stopped recording in 2009 after working on a couple songs. She needed time to process everything that's happened in the last couple years, and grow some more.

This is a true Janet album at heart, and it was so well worth the wait.
