Shilpa Shetty never tried anything in Hollywood. She was on some British reality show after another '90s Bollywood has-been originally cast for the show dropped out. Aishwarya Rai was the one who pretended she was she was big in Hollywood. She really fooled people in South Asia that she was a big name because of her Loreal ads and a role in the Pink Panther sequel.

And chill LMAO, I don't stan Bollywood at all but Priyanka is still not some kind of great actress that you're making her out to be.
But I'm happy to see Indian women succeed.

If you haven't seen Fashion, then how are you deciding that she can't act?
Fashion won her a National Film Award, which is not international recognition; it's a prestigious award that only 3 Bollywood actresses have managed to get. Besides, her performance in Barfi wasn't even bad. She plays someone with autism and Asperger's so of course it was going to be weird. Indians don't even know what autism is!
And you can't get international recognizition just because you want it.

If that were the case, every local star in Asia would be getting it. How many Indian and South Korean stars try to crossover, but don't get any critical praise? FYI those "achievements" are critical praise from respected trade sources like Variety and THR from as early as 2006-09, long before her international career. In fact, Variety completely destroyed Krrish in a review, but said the one redeemable thing about the movie was Priyanka Chopra who needs better material.
I don't care if you stan Bollywood or not. I know you're the type that thinks Deepika, SRK and Hrithik are good actors because that's the popular belief. They're not! They play the same roles over and over while PC takes a chance (and sometimes succeeds and something doesn't). No one is saying she's Viola Davis, but she's a lot better than Asians give her credit for.
