I don't even know what to say.
He text me saying he forgot his phone so he had to go back to get it and that he was on the bus. This meant he'd be 20 minutes late so I got myself a mint tea and tuna panini from Starbucks. Vicky (the main barista who I'm friendly with) started talking to me about her date. She didn't like him because his belly was hanging out from his shirt, he was short and kept checking her breasts out. Anyway she kept going on and on and on and I was thinking "Girl this is cute and all but my potential is about to come and I need to eat this before he comes and sees what a slob I am". Anyway she finally shut up after a few minutes so I progressed to my seat and ate whilst watching Charmed. I text him saying I'm sat downstairs so "Just get your drink and come"
. Like I didn't even offer to buy him his drink.
Anyway as I was messing about on my phone, he just walked in and I was like woah. He is even better looking in person and has a sort of slaying model aura about him. He's a little camp but so am I so whatever. His teeth are a bit crooked but he has a sexy tongue piercing. I really really like him, physically. His skin is flawless. He's adorable.
His accent was on point and eyebrows on fleek. He's slim, a little taller than me which is great. I actually felt sorry for him because he had to put up with my awful self for the next 45 minutes (I looked a mess).
He spoke a lot. I didn't. He was worried about a new job of his and I just listened. I kind of wanted him to just shut up so I could stare at him in peace. Anyway we just started talking about different countries and our families and jobs etc. Standard really. There were times when he just didn't seem that into me but then I probably gave a standoffish vibe anyway because I was so tired and so nervous too. I think I showed how insecure and nervous I was. Ugh i'm such a dufus!
At the end we were stood outside Starbucks saying goodbye when he leans in and hugs me!!! ioasjfisdji!!! I didn't expect that at all but is that a good sign?
Meeting him reignited my like for him. I really do like him, a lot. But I don't know if this was seen as a potential date type meet or just as friends. He doesn't have many friends here as he only moved to the UK like 2 months ago
. I don't know if I impressed him enough to warrant it to be a date. I text him a bit ago saying it was nice to finally meet him and asked if he got to the bank OK. Maybe I should have waited? If we keep texting like we do then I guess it was a success.
