First released as a single in 1963, "From Me To You" is considered the band's first #1 in the UK. (See here as to why there is even any debate.) #BeatlesTrivia: This is also one of the last songs credited to McCartney-Lennon instead of Lennon-McCartney.
What the GP had to say:
Lucas32 didn't really care for it, calling it "too inoffensive to be seriously bad but also too uninteresting to warrant multiple listens." Buyonce1814 wasn't a fan either, giving it a backhanded compliment and calling it "slightly better than "Eight Days A Week"."
Here it is, the first 11 to go. Poor Kid A. It first appeared on the 1963 album With The Beatles. Not really much to say about it, I guess.
What the GP had to say:
lousaysthings praised the song, saying it was "[His] favourite Beatles upbeat, along with the tragically ignored "I'm Happy Just to Dance with You"." Lucas32 also enjoyed it, calling it "very euphoric and one of the few Beatles songs that can be called a "bop"." superben, on the other hand... "It has arguably the worst word play in their entire discography," he says.
