Last season, we all started off with 3 "lives." Some people won more lives before the game started by winning some bonus rounds. After the game started, before a round, Element would pre-assign a "poison spoon" to the spoons available. At the end of the round, Element would reveal which spoon was poisoned and you lost a life. If you ran out of lives, then you'd be automatically out of the game.

It wasn't too bad. Superpower was the only one to lose all of his lives.

wesleywalrus had 1 life left for the majority of the game and managed to be eliminated the regular way.

Even though it got me eliminated, I think it added more excitement to the game because there was drama even after grabbing your spoon. You were never truly safe.
But this game doesn't need any more drama. After the top10, you'll be shaking to grab a spoon

Oh my God, I remember that so well. And then people would have normal conversations with the word "spoon" in it and some people would misunderstand and think it's a real spoon.

Yes, that's possible.

But sometimes before the actual winner posts the first spoon, the other players would be chatting and "spoon" might just slip into their conversation. Things always get messy when that happens.

Yes, the person who receives permission can do that. They can really do whatever they want with it. However, sometimes during a round, a player will have like a forgetful moment and post the word without realizing, and that causes a lot of confusion and mess.
