As a fan of both, I think Pink had a great point, but I think her word choice was a little poor. She has songs that aren't "saving lives", but she also has a point that the VMAs were just trash. There's a difference between drama/controversy and just down right romper room ****ery. The VMAs crossed that line this year.

I totally agree with her. Not every song you release has to be some inspirational piece of work. CFTS may not "save lives" but I can definitely tell you when I'm feeling sad and need to cheer up fun sexy songs like that make me feel sooooooooo much better. ALL types of music saves lives. Not just emotional ballads.

P!nk wasn't even talking about her... it's more likely she was talking about Miley's outfits, skits, performances, etc. as well as Nicki's performance and catty behavior.
Demi's performance wasn't a controversial/'shocking' moment so I highly doubt P!nk would specifically be singling her out. Also, P!nk didn't even remember she performed, so there's that.
