I've been trying to get into Bjork recently.
I've listened to Joga and Hyperballad

I know she has many critically acclaimed albums...which is the best in your opinion?

For me, Homogenic and Vespertine are Bjork's best albums.
But most people (myself included) would suggest you to listen to Post first.

I would always recommend Homogenic or Vespertine first tbh. They are her best and they're both surprisingly accessible.

My favorites are Biophilia and Vespertine.
But I would recommend Homogenic and Post as a first listen, if you aren't into alternative music. those are her most accesible I'd say.

Post would replace Vulnicura but it's kind of aimless and going nowhere.

tea. I think post is very accessible and probably a "Björk-lite" album. I agree that it kinda goes nowhere but that's the point. To me, Debut is her searching for her sound, Post is what she found, and Homogenic is the cumulative effort of both and refined to a masterfully sharp point.

This tbh, those two were my first Björk albums (in that order) and loved them almost immediately.

Vespertine is not only her best album, but also one of the best albums ever recorded imo.

I've never really understood the love for Post tbh, I mean it's a nice album, but about half of the songs (the likes of The Modern Things, Cover Me, Headphones, etc.) are non-events and only work within the context of the album. I'd never have the urge to listen to those songs individually, whereas on her other albums most tracks are works of art in themselves, too.

Medulla overall is such a good album. DC, Where Is The Line, Oceania, criminally underrated Vokuro, MC, etc >>>

Desired Constellation will always remain the best on that album (above oceania), though. Nobody can take that away no matter what they say
