Well Aquarius was not promoted well after its release. I know she went on tour, but after pretend was released, all hands on deck didn't come out until March of the following year. So the album was pretty much dead for a good 4 to 5 months. It didn't help that the only single left on the album, all hands on deck, flopped.
So now it is the perfect time for a new album. Hopefully the lead is a big song. And hopefully they continue to promote and plan for the next few months to give it longevity.
