I'm still in awe at how quickly on-demand streaming is growing. Just a few months ago, it was a HUGE deal that SYA became the first song to have 1M US streams in a day. Now we have 3 songs doing it at the same time

Every song performed clearly had a post-VMA effect, as every song's amount of plays gained on the 9/1 update versus the VMA night (8/31) update has increased except for WDYM? because it was a really new song that broke a record.
