I remember this too!! It was an interview in the official charmed magazine (god I forgot all about that it was so good!!) and she said every year that she heard it'd been renewed she'd just sit there and cry all day.

I remember being disappointed when I read that but she was saying how she loved charmed but felt tv tied her down and didn't allow her to do other things such as films etc... which does make sense. It's sad to think that she wasn't always 100% happy to be there tho

It kinda destroys the image of the family (on screen) when you know all three of them had issues with the show or with each other... Now whatching it isn't quite the same

Wait. How is it obvious? My impression was that Alyssa adopted a princess complex from being homeschooled or w/e. And Shannon is the hard headed strong woman who just doesn't have time for her like that.
I just feel like Alyssa is used to getting her way. And that probably made her quite overbearing in the screenwriting process. Did anyone notice that whenever the charmed ones would accidentally morph into something, whether it be a genie, nymph or possession it was always Alyssa?
The only time I can remember it wasn't was when Halle got to be the banshee. And I'm sure Alyssa pushed for that whole Cole thing which ruined charmed tbh.

The beginning of the downfall of the character of Phoebe. The difference of her character between 4 and 5 is astounding.
