Jepshit's album couldn't outsell Miranda and the Diamonds or manage any sustainable hit.
The way they marketed her album to be an acclaimed centerpiece after all else failed.
E-MO-TION has 7 great tracks out of 17, that's why it's overrated for me, lol. But those 7 tracks are still better than almost everythin on US iTunes top 100 rn. I warmed up to Carly a bit after RAWM. I always thought that she's a talentless boring girl after CMM
The Teenage Dream singles are good, but the album tracks suck (except Dressin' Up).
The album tracks are **** and the singles were never really that good aside from the title track. Like she was the #1 pop star during that era but the production on those songs sounds inescapably CHEAP. It's ridiculous.
