No artist right now is worthy of this kind of title. Michael Jackson (or Madonna in the female category) dominated pop music in a way that made him be the number one topic on all kinds of media, not being aware of him (or her for Madonna) was, in the eighties and early nineties, the equivalent of living in a cave or monastery. Nothing similar for any of the guys on the poll. The only one close to that was Lady Gaga, had she persevered in the right direction, she would have reached that status by now.
