You can get vitiligo by bleaching your skin.
He changed his nose several times to get a typical white nose, wore straight haired wigs, got progressively lighter from the 70s throughout the 80s and tried to pass 2 white kids off as his own. It's sad that someone who opened so many doors for black artists was a self-hater but he was obviously was.
