Nick should've gotten a main show performance, especially since Chains is nominated for one of the main categories. They did him so wrong

He performed at the Billboards, MMVA, iHeartRadio Awards, CMA, KCAs, etc, but MTV always gives him pre-shows (first the EMAs pre-show last year, which was expected because Jealous didn't explode until then, and now VMAs pre-show but well, he'll get it next time. Hope he gets his third consecutive hit with Levels)

I'm starting to think they want it to be a surprise to bring more hype with people saying "wow mtv hasn't announced the performers, this year is gonna be epic ". It's kinda working if we're being honest.
