I actually paid attention to the lyrics of HBTH. I can see her finally moving on from the obsessed lover narrative. This album will be great. I'm excited there might be a few new themes to her songs.
UV is my favorite album by any artist period but if anyone can top it it's Lana herself. If there are more songs like HBTB and Life Is Beautiful (semi unpopular opinion but I think the snippet is absolutely beautiful), it could top UV.

At first I kind of wanted all her albums to have a consistent Born To Die/Paradise style cover, but then Ultraviolence happened so we might as well have a cover that's completely different! I hope she uses that picture as the cover and if not something colorful and different like that
Why would I be trolling? I have the right to dislike Ultraviolence.

Ultraviolence is a 3/10 only thanks to West Coast, Brooklyn Baby and Cruel World.
UV is definitely her best album, West Coast, Shades of Cool, Brooklyn Baby, Money Power Glory, they're all fantastic. ATRL never stanned for the album because it isn't pop enough.
It's a miracle it didn't destroy her career. It's so bad.
