That's exactly why I love it though. It's a great mix of insanity, underage sexual tension, great animation and complelely random cutaways.

If I had to guess: FLCL is about growing up, discovering the world and being more in tune with your emotions (or "overflowing" in this case) but I don't think it's supposed to be analysed like that I love it for what it is tho.
