I still can't believe this whole thing is playing out infront of my eyes. I literally have obsessed over AHS since the beginning. And something in me always thought Gaga would fit perfectly in the show especially from Asylum onwards. Just thinking I would have loved to see Gaga play the Lana Winters character, not sure if she reminded me of Gaga, or I just wanted to see her play that role, because I thought it was so good. But I guess a part of me saw a little bit of Gaga's personality in Lana's character, especially more toward the end of that season. And Coven obviously would have been a perfect match, and Freak Show well.. The fact that I'm a massive Sarah Paulson fan, and Jessica Lange, and a lot of the cast, and all I actually ever wanted was for Gaga to tweet about loving the show, because I felt as if it was a show she would enjoy, but I wasn't sure she actually ever watched it, but a part of me knew this would be the type of television she would enjoy, and I hoped she watched it, and I badly wanted her to tweet like that she loved the show, and that her and Sarah Paulson would interact via twitter. And secretly become friends, but for now this to be playing out in reality, where Gaga is actually not only talking about the show, but in the show, and seeing that first teaser with it saying Gaga.. Hotel.. with the iconic AHS theme music, which I never thought would happen, I geeked out so hard, probably just as hard as an album release, and for now Sarah Paulson and her to be interacting, Gaga being on the show, that I was going to watch whether Gaga was in it or not. And to see the cast of this show, which I think are so brilliant, talk so highly, and actually have questions referring to Gaga, someone I have loved, supported and stanned for since '08 is just so mind blowing, that I geek out everytime someone even mentions her name in an interview, or tweets about her, I am beyond excited, and the fact that everybody is embracing her, praising her, and saying that she is in the right place, it makes stanning for this bitch so easy, because I truly stan for her for legit reasons, being that I see a lot of her struggles in me, and the fact that I can relate, and that we share similar interests, opinions, and thoughts (or so I assume as I'm usually intuitive about whats coming next) makes me so happy. And I really cannot wait for all the teasers, because I'm enjoying every moment of this playing out in front of my eyes, and October, well I'm probably going to be an absolute mess, if I'm not already a mess by Septemeber when the first cast poster/trailer is released.
I probably wouldn't be reading any spoilers either, but I can't help but enjoy every moment of this as it unfolds, especially now that Gaga is involved, I want to hear every little detail, every time her name is mentioned etc, which unfortunately means sometimes hearing major spoilers, had Gaga not been in the show I would've just wait, impatiently still for October, but this season having Gaga takes my excitement beyond.
Also something interesting Sarah said about how cast members can go, come back for seasons etc, I think the fact that Gaga is now in Ryan's world, he'll always keep her (as an actor) on his radar, which is a great thing to have in your back pocket. And if she chooses to come, and go. Or have smaller parts like Lily in Freak Show, or if he decides to create a new show, she'll be in his team of people. Also I hope she wins an Emmy and goes onto do serious acting roles in brilliantly written movies, something along the lines of Cher whilst focusing on music, but that's probably pushing to soon, and me expecting way to much, as that would require to do nothing else, which I assume she plans to get married, have children within the next 5/10 years.
