Venus has grown on me but Do What U Want should have been a huge zeitgeist moment where she inspires a shift in sound. Gypsy should have followed around the Grammys, Venus in April and Sexxx Dreams in August.

Sometimes I really wonder if I have the same Venus as people who wanted it be a single.

Venus would have flopped. Therefore, ARTPOP would have flopped more, Gags' meltdowns about critics and drama would have been worse and I'm not even sure she'd be where she is had Venus been released.

Even if she planned a video for it, it doesn't change the fact Venus is awful.
