What a non-event trailer. I thought they were about to reveal a release date at the end but I should've known better.

I don't hate or love this trailer, it felt like they were trying to set up a story but the execution was off.

I don't think that will happen now, Nomura was the one who talked about female party members this hack might remove the concept of guest party members altogether.

I'm so tired of the "female characters or final fantasy is dead!1!!!11" ********. We just came from the XIII in which in EVERY game, the main focus was on female characters. In XV, Luna is not on the main party, but is on the main focus on the story. They already confirmed that even though the main party (Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto) will remain together until the end, MORE characters (for example, Cor) will join the team in certain arcs of the game, and they even said that a female character is likely to join.

The game is no less for not havin a female go with Noctis everywhere. The game was always designed as to be Noctis and his 3 friends who are also soldiers working for him. Changing that and scraping one of the characters just to shoehorn a bitch in there just for the sake of "yay anime cutesu kawaii now i am not triggered!" is what some of you all want? You wall keep asking of new ways of storytelling and with Final Fantasy, the public was already tired of the 6-8 member party in which there has to be a female counterpart shoehorned in the gameplay just for the sake of conservadurism. We've had 14 mainline games, not every one of them has to follow the same pattern. If XV has an all male party, maybe XVIII has an all black female party, maybe XVI has another party of balanced gender. Stop with that.

Yeah. Nomura stated even back when he was "directing" this game that it was going to be a bro-fest from the beginning. It's a little too late to upset about that. If you want to upset, be upset that that ballroom scene where Stella and Noct first met that they hyped for years has been cut from the game.

I'm still digging the game though. I mean.. it still looks better than XIII. I like Tabata. I mean, no shade, he is kinda like the lessor form of Matsuno with his love of war and politics. I'm still confident I'll like this game even if I don't get it in my hands until Fall 2020. I'm just confused why it took so long to finalize on a scenario lol.

I really hope the Stella vs Noctis scene is still in the game in the form of Luna vs Noctis.

Bitch isn't giving me any hopes it's actually in but I can dream.
