First of all, almost certainly not, but it'll be something to cap off my summer, before the big players (Lana, Grimes, Kanye, Alice Glass etc) release new material.

And Ghost was all over the place, I'm glad she didn't. LIMB, Red Lips and EIE are great but all over the place, Sad Dream and Ghost are country-lite acoustic songs which bore me to death. If anything, she went more for a Red Lips route with a few EIE-like songs (IBM, LIS), she didn't just start again from scratch.

One of my problems with Sky is that she sounds so goddamn uninterested and monotoned in goddamn near everything she sings (aside from I Blame Myself), even when she's supposed to sound invested. One's robotic lyrical conceit works around that.

Sometimes it works well for her (LIMB and Love In Stereo work because it makes her sound so robotic, same with HA although that's still a bad song).The only songs where it really makes a difference is something like Boys.

She sounds plenty invested in songs like 24 Hours, IBM and YNTO, though.

The production/mixing on Night Time, My Time is frustrating, too. It overbears and drowns her out at pretty much every turn throughout the record (except, again, for I Blame Myself). It's so noisy.

You can barely hear her by the time You're Not The One gets to the chorus.
