Every pop girl has a completely trash album, though. Katy has TD, Gaga has The Fame, Taylor has Self-Titled, Rih has TTT, Madonna has her output since 2000 when you ignore Confessions and RH.

Pre-TNC classic WAS better than Bey. As much as I like Fancy, everything after then has been mediocre, or less. Obviously vocally she'll never match Bey, but I think there are other more important factors to being an artist than just vocals (obviously, I stan Kesha and Katy).

Meghan is an artist through and through. The only thing Bey has on Meghan is vocals (and appearance if you care about that kind of thing).

I absolutely hate Red. I was a devout Acolyte (remember when that was her fan name? None of these bandwagoners do!) since just before Fearless, and Speak Now is still one of my favourite albums, and then she served us that confused, wretched mess. The pop tracks were great (if somewhat overrated, see IKYWT) and the 'country' tracks were pretty terrible. Starlight was in between and I loved it, but that was it. Such a disappointment.

Born To Die/The Paradise Edition is such a great album, it's a shame everything that came after.
