Thanks! Your second point is one I've made time and time again! I just wish BB's Comprehensive Albums Chart went back that far to see how much longer the giant CDs by Shania and Faith would've stayed on the BB200. Come On Over would be in the Top 10 with the current rules in place, given the fact COO set the record for the longest stay on the BB200 at 156 weeks (3 years) under the 104 week rule before being forced onto the Catalog Album Chart.
Shania could've released one or two more songs from COO, and would have been more likely to do so had the current policy been in place. "When," what I consider the albums best song, only got a semi-official 12th single release in the US, though it was fully officially released in Canada. "Black Eyes, Blue Tears" should've been the 13th single. Admittedly COO's remaining three songs not really good enough for a release. These last two songs I mentioned were better songs for release than what her label chose as the 10th & 11th singles too.
