2ndly, Usher has definitely outlasted Christina,which is why he has both a Gold & Platinum studio album to his name this decade. Something Christina doesn't have.

So you're saying Sweet Dream is better than Radar? (I chose SD because that's her only pop record). She tried with RTW but that didn't work either. She should just stick with what she's good at instead of coming for Britney's level of greatness. Other people tried it like Xtina and Gaga and failed.

Beyonce is too driven to just give up on her career. Plus, she is too smart. She's sees far ahead.

The main reason why most of her peers couldn't keep up with her or in general was because, either they became lazy, or didn't keep up with changing times or just no longer gave a **** about their careers.

Beyonce is not like that. She is focused. She is determined, which is why I can confidently say that she is here to stay for a longer time. Plus, her star power is huge, which will keep her relevant for a long while.

Yes, Sweet Dreams is better than Radar. Nearly all of the music Beyonce has recorded in her nearly 2 decade long career has been better than Radar. But once again, this thread is about the success & relevancy of the late 90's debuting artists, not about subjective things like music quality.

But all of the current major ones?
Because some already made it to a decade and i don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon.

Xtina is over. and anyone who is denying that is just stanning too hard. she can have a career in music of course and she is respected for her voice and beautiful ballads but as a selling power in music she has fallen short waaaayyyy too many times. at this point we can classify her as "done commercially".
Brit on the other hand has just begun her "clear downfall". Britney Jean has been her first true flop and if her new record does not do good and sells similarly to Britney Jean then we will have a problem...however like Bey , Brit has amassed a strong legacy that makes it seem like even if she "flops" she is still a winner.(to a certain extent of course)

Yes it is what it means. If you entered the industry around the same time as someone & you're doing better than they did today, you've outlasted them. Also, Beyonce (as a solo artist, since that's all you want to talk about) has been outdoing them for about 12 years now. The only time it was debatable on who was bigger was in 2003. But that's not what the thread is about anyway.

Everyone flops eventually. Nothing lasts forever. Hive needs to stop acting like Beyonce is immune to it. There was a time I thought Brit would never flop, and here we are. Her star power was much bigger at her peak than Bey's was/is at hers & she still flopped.

Bey could wake up tomorrow & decide she doesn't care about being on top anymore & would much rather just be home with Blue. She could pull a Britney and just start doing it for fun & start just releasing music for her fans. I mean, her whole last era was designed so she didn't have to promote it. What if she doesn't wanna promote her next album and doesn't have the surprise release to push it? She's not strong singles wise so she may not have singles to push it either.

I think she still has a few successful eras left in her but again, nothing lasts forever.
