looks like the Hive didn't learn from what happened to the monsters and Britney & Xtina debuted 5 years before Bey so she outlasted people like Ashlee Simpson & Avril kudos Bey lol
1. Talent. Self explanatory.
2. Work ethic -- she puts in so much work. People admire and appreciate genuine effort (most of the time).
3. Quality...not only does she work hard, she works with passion and purpose. She cares about the output and delivers great music and performances as a result.
4. Timing and pacing...she paced herself well; took long enough breaks to allow people to miss her, but no so long that people completely forgot her and lost interest.
5. Consistency...she manages to explore genres and sounds enough to keep it fresh, but manages to keep things still familiar enough as to not alienate large numbers of fans.
I think that covers the bases for what has punched others out while Bey is still thriving.
All of this + the fact that she grows as an artist. BEYONCE and 4 were not her most commercially successful records but they are considered her best albums and are very important pieces of her career. Unlike other artist who not only decline commercial success, but with the quality of their music as well.

The monsters? Beyonce has always been consistent with her success, unlike Gaga who is fading and on the decline. Not sure what your point is there but she sure hasn't been declining.
& where tf are Brit and X now? Right... serving flop albums and singles, and one of them can't even sell out a high school auditorium.
Even if you want to count 2003 as her debut date, she's still gonna end up having a longer successful career run than Britney, Christina, etc. She's like 3 years behind.
Do you really expect her to somehow tank in the next 3 years and go to Lotus / Britney Jean level performance? Lmao.
The question still stands.
The question is why did Beyonce outlast her peers. "Beyonce" wasn't an artist until 2003.
Beyonce, along with Destiny's Child debuted in late 1997. Therefore, Beyonce's career is nearly 18 years old. Not once did I specify that i was talking about Beyonce's solo career. This is about her career in total.
& even if 2003 IS counted, she still outlasted basically everyone, so your loopholes won't work here.
When Beyonce performs on tour, she performs her biggest hits unless she's doing some mini tribute to the Destiny's Child. I highly doubt someone would tribute their own career. Even she doesn't consider DC as a part of her career, and kudos to her.

Beyonce still acknowledges DC & has never paid them dust. I wouldn't call it a "tribute to her own career", but just her embracing her past & her beginnings.
If she wasn't in DC why would she have songs featuring her vocals to perform?

For real lmao. The delusion is real.
She won't fade anytime soon. Her brand and starpower is way too huge in 2015. Much bigger than other artists who debuted around her time. It only gets bigger too.
In terms of successful career before falling off:
Britney: 1999-2011 (12 years)
Christina: 1999-2006 (7 years)
P!nk: 2000-2013 (13 years)
Kelly: 2002-2012 (10 years)
J Lo: 1999-2011 (12 years)
And no don't try "b-b-but Scream and Shout, Moves Like Jagger". This is in terms of how long they were able to have successful eras. Not 1 or 2 features that did well between eras that bombed.
Beyoncé has had on going successful eras 2003-2014. That's already 11 years. If her album in 2016 or whenever is successful that is 13+ years. Therefore she's already outlasted her peers except P!nk if she comes back with another successful era.
& I doubt Ms. Knowles is having a Lotus / Britney Jean / Piece by Piece / AKA sized flop anytime soon. So the question still stands — why did she outlast her peers. Stop the delusion.
Even if you want to use the nonsensical excuse that her career didn't begin until 2003 because she started in DC ( ), Bey still had music released as a solo act in the 90s as well.

I honestly don't see her flopping Lotus/Britney Jean style anytime soon.
If she did debut in '97 (she didn't) I assume it would be easier to outlast your peers when you have two to three other girls to back you up seven of those years. Some artists had to be successful on their own two feet.
