X's last single as a lead artist (Say Something) outsold Drunk In Love, Not A Bad Thing, and True Love combined. On top of that she was the only pop girl that won a popular Grammy in 2015. Clearly Bey, and her subpar 30 million albums sold outlasted no 1 special.
Beyonce definitely outlasted xtina as she's been able to get multiple certified studio albums & has gotten hits without the aid of anyone else as well.
Also, SS didn't win a general field grammy & Beyonce won 3 this year.
She's only 10 years into her career. 10 years into her career, Britney scored a 5m selling album, a global #1 monster smash and a huge tour where she didn't tour any continent twice.

Stop trying to make Xtina happen lol. She hasn't been relevant since 2007 and having one hit song doesn't change that.
Britney, Xtina, Avril, Usher, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Norah Jones, Jlo etc all acts that were outselling her/selling just as much her in the early 2000's and are all now struggling.
Britney
Christina Aguilera
Ashanti
Mya
Christina Milian
Avril
Jennifer Lopez
etc.

Beyonce is actually about 17 years into her career. 17 years into Britney's career, she got a #29 peaking hit...

Maybe one day she'll be able to produce a platinum single from one of her own albums this decade

1. Talent. Self explanatory.
2. Work ethic -- she puts in so much work. People admire and appreciate genuine effort (most of the time).
3. Quality...not only does she work hard, she works with passion and purpose. She cares about the output and delivers great music and performances as a result.
4. Timing and pacing...she paced herself well; took long enough breaks to allow people to miss her, but no so long that people completely forgot her and lost interest.
5. Consistency...she manages to explore genres and sounds enough to keep it fresh, but manages to keep things still familiar enough as to not alienate large numbers of fans.
I think that covers the bases for what has punched others out while Bey is still thriving.
I find it funny that you would easily discredit Britney's old receipts as dated and living in the past, but you'd still include a girl band Beyonce was once a prt of as a part of her solo career. Beyonce was 10 years into her career when BEYONCE came out.

I said career. Last time I checked Destiny's Child is a part of Beyonce's career. Sorry to break it to you.
& i'm not living in the past by including DC. I'm talking about today. not 1998. So their old receipts weren't even included in the discussion.
