I generally take his findings with a grain of salt as there's little scientific evidence supporting many of his theories unlike modern day psychology which is often linked with biology but it's certainly not worth disregarding all his work.

Yes he had his worth in bolstering the science but he should just be let go now. Regardless of how controversial his theories were, they were incredibly unscientific and just based on musings and abstract ideas that he pulled out of his ass, and the majority of them are pretty unanimously disproved nowadays.

I agree. He brought a whole genre of ideas and his ideas about subconscious and everything else were definitely not a reach/fabricated nonsense. He brought psychology a long way.
I already counted my song plays before there was an online service to do it. It's nice to have an archive of everything I have ever loved. Sharing it with others is not that important.
