They do it because they're administrators of that site along with Maiko, who created it. I understand this isn't the place to do it though. And it's not a flop there are 500+ members now and growing.
When will the registrations for new ATRL members open? The Games section a.k.a. the best part of ATRL has been dying since April. The Your Top Ten section is almost dead.
We have to wait 3 days to start a new round in our MCs, plus we need more people to sign up in the games. This is horrible. I hope the change will come soon.

I doubt that they will open them until the redesign.
Whether ATRL is even a thing at that point is still to be seen.
