"Heaven on Earth" is overrated. Worst song on Blackout, in my opinion.
S/N: "Everybody" is objectively worse.

Hot As Ice is the worst song on Blackout. What the **** did the producers do to her voice on it? Gives me serious Myah teas from how robotic she sounds on it.

I think the vocals are fine. Nowhere near an Anthony Preston or Emily Wright sized mess...

But still, In the Zone >>>>>>>>>>>>>
When you remove the singles, Blackout really isn't the magnum opus many of her fans make it out to be. Other than those, I only still give occasional listens to Imperfect Mother and Get Arrested (I Got a Warrant).

Blackout is the perfect nighttime album and In the Zone is the perfect late afternoon/twilight album.

Weird how it took PG only 2 months to get certified vs. Work Bitch which took like 6 months. But that means 200M for PG should come sooner than WB.
I found this on Exhale for WB - 7.8M streams on Spotify on Nov 1, 2013 so about 1.5 months after release ( http://www.breatheheavy.com/exhale/i...#entry10649233)
I figure PG was around the same 1.5 months into its run? I don't remember. Bad thing is we don't have an album release to boost iTunes/streams like WB did. But I guess it'll reach at least 40M - 50M in like 2 years. & Gold in like seven years or something

So most of WB's streams come from AFTER it left the charts?

Well, WB didn't leave the charts until after December. It charted for 3 months mostly, so from September until December. I don't know what its streams looked like in late December/early January 2014. I'd say it got half its streams post-2013 (for both Vevo and Spotify). For a 2013 single, 60M in Spotify isn't bad. For example, Come & Get It (big streaming hit) has 70M so...obviously now in 2015, 60M isn't that much so PG stalling at 16M is terrible but it's all relative.

SEA (streaming; 1,500 streams = 1 album):
Spotify:
Work Bitch: 47,557,281
Perfume: 11,183,141
YouTube:
Work Bitch: 137,794,722
Work Bitch (Audio): 13,362,615
Perfume: 21,769,237
Perfume (Audio): 4,172,937
Perfume (Lyric): 3,348,900
It Should Be Easy (Audio): 2,005,951
Now That I Found You (Audio): 1,277,680
Total streams: 242,422,464
Divide that by 1,500 = 161,615 albums.
SEA (10 tracks = 1 album):
Work Bitch: 1.5m WW
Perfume: .4m WW
Other: .1m WW
Total: 2m
2,000,000/10 = 200,000 albums.
161,615 + 200,000 = 361,615 albums sold.
Add 361,615 to Britney Jean's 600k WW total = 961,615 WW total.
Which we can reasonably round to 1m.
Success!

Work Bitch: 62,082,945 (14,525,664 in 7 months)
Streaming monster! Also 43 million views since December.

15m in 7 months? Not too bad, that means PG should cross 30M by the end of the year, hopefully.

She really needs to get a big streaming smash because I look at other artists' Spotify numbers, and even for the most forgotten and irrelevant of hits, these artists are getting hundreds of millions of streams.
Like "Maps" by Maroon 5 having 230M+ sterams. Ffffffffff, how even?

Her streams are not as bad as some people make them out to be (3 billion on YT, 850 million on Spotify) but yeah, she really needs a streaming hit to push her catalog.
At least her old videos still get great recurrent views. Mariah not everybody has that.gif

I don't know about Spotify but it hit 70 million views on Christmas Eve 2013 on VEVO. So it got around 110 of it's 180 million views post 2013.

Remove the singles from ITZ and all you have is a really good mixtape. It wouldn't even have a lead single worthy song. Take away Blackout's singles & you still have a solid pop album.

Foh when Breathe On Me, Touch of My Hand, and The Hook Up were all destined to smash.
OT: "The Answer" deserved single treatment and a video. Can you imagine a video for that gem?

You definitely have a problem if you think Heaven is bad.
Maybe you never have a hot boyfriend
Heaven is one of the best songs on blackout. It's better than half if Blackout and deserved to be 4th single
