Not a gaga fan anymore but I must say I was impressed with her oscar performance and she has undeniable talent. Grammy winning females always wins.

Except Nicki herself when talking about what she called an album that's going to be a hip hop classic and important to hip hop...says she doesn't want to be called a female rapper...just a rapper.
Also, they are going to use her being a rapper to justify underwhelming (I'd never say flop because they are not) albums sales, single sales, touring receipts and impact in general.
They are going to pretend as if the following doesn't exist
She doesn't have over 60+ songs of rap and pop/rap material in which most are not solo as hits.
Despite an 8 month promo campaign prior to her recent release she's been outsold by Kendrick as of this week, Jcole, drake and Meek might be a problem in a few months or so.
Rapper with less singles, less promo out performing her in sales and awards/accolades.
Despite having 12 releases during her 2nd era she's scraped 900k US sales
Despite having 7 releases this era she's scraped 650k sales and not even a million WW.
And despite having the opportunity to be played on pop/urban/rhy as well as perform on urban award shows as well as mainstream award shows...the tour receipts are what they are.
Not a failure but horribly underwhelming. there's only a few people that have this amount of push (still not able to have 8 releases per era) if not most of this push/press/promo and they perform extremely well.
This will be deflected and other things will be focused on. Trust.
