i didnt even mean it like that at all
the fact u cant get into arcade fire (probably the epitome and face of indie music right now imo) but ure able to get into those bands is kind of weird to me... i believe that arcade fire makes better music than most current 'indie' acts

but i can still give credit where credit is due... y&y, 1975, ben howard, coldplay, muse, florence, alt-j, m83, the naked and famous, crystal fighters, mumford & sons, the maccabess and many more... these are all bands who give indie a bad name, are NOT talented at all, and create the worst fans in music ever existed imo
worse than dubstep fans
You can know the technical side of it but don't ever think that listening to death grips or Lana Del rey somehow gives you the musical know how to come in here with an air of superiority and belittle views of others.
if i want music like that id rather play something pre-internet era
