Hmm. I thought about it and fiddled with the numbers.
Meek averaged 35k units a day for the first 7 days.
And 10.5k units a day the next 4 days.
That's a 70% drop.
Even if the units per day for this 7-day period stabilizes to be 70% of those 4 days, that would be .7 * 42k * (7/4) = 51k. Giving Tyrese a #1 after all.
Looking at, say, Kendrick: 66% drop 2nd week, 47% drop 3rd week.
Drake 65%, then 47%.
But Meek is hinted to be even more frontloaded, so that 51k could be overly generous. I guess I just assumed Meek would stay because 55k looks so...low for a #1 and I was caught up in how impressive his first week was.
Damn Tyrese. He's doing similar #'s to the TGT album.
