Earth is not the only hospitable planet, it is the only known hospitable planet to us. We evolved here, and got to live and adapt with the present elements. On another planet void of water or oxygen, there can be living organisms because they need other elements to survive. Just because we need elements XYZ doesn't mean all living things need the same elements. If another species on another planet come to Earth, then they may die because they aren't used to the same elements that we need to survive. The statement that 'Earth is situated in a perfect place to sustain life' is bogus.
