The 9 shows we have and a total of $32,159,511.00 which means the other 74 shows would have to make $237,840,489 or about $3.214 million each.
From the 5 arena shows which made $8,335,079 the average is $1.667 million.
From the 4 stadium shows we have $23,824,432 or $5.956 million per show.
I could be wrong but there's 28 stadium dates left (25 to play and the Japan and May 22 boxscore not counting Rock In Rio), which is where the raised average per show will come in, but the other 34 shows to play are arenas (plus 7 European leg shows, not counting the Summertime Ball show.)
So:
28 x $5.956 million = $166,768,000
44 x $1.667 million = $73,348,000
=$240,116,000
She COULD do it, and then also add in ticket prices to markets like Australia etc.

Someone got bumped. I'm not exactly sure who it is, but Katy overtook someone.

Katy is currently still at #10 with $153M on Pollstar 2014, and $146M for individually reported shows by Billboard (still loads more to report though.)
She did overtake Taylor with the Red Tour who was previously at number 10.

At least she'll secure a good spot at the end of The 1989 World Tour.

Fast forward to 2015 and between April and May, Perry played 12 dates across eight countries bringing the zany colourful world she’d created for her “Prismatic” tour to more than 165,000 fans. The box office for the tour? A staggering total of in excess of $US 20 million.

So it's pretty much confirmed TPWT will cross $200 million.

A glorious goal would be 230 million for this tour and put her #4 at the end of this year.
She was talking about going to Cuba, Turkey, Israel and South Africa in the Forbes videos.
If the gap is 10 million or 4%, would you hit the afterburner/nitrous? Just that little bit more oomph to make the difference.
It isn't as time consuming as adding a second US leg. 4 to 6 shows.

With all those dates you would think she has passed Madonna 's Sticky and sweet tour....

$1M+ average during a debut tour is more than amazing and only done by Lady Gaga. So let's not !

In what world having your FIRST number 1 in January and going on tour in November and then having the biggest tour ever by a debut headlining artist + top 10 tours of all time (at the time) ? ? ? is worse than being in the business for 7 years and earning less than that tour you speak of ?
Let's not.
Gaga had just gotten her first number 1 hit the same year when she started her tour
No one has done it, EVER. And no one will (probably).

The Sticky and Sweet Tour will remain unbothered for ages (until someone crazy dedicated enough dares to do hundreds of dates for the sole purpose of defeating it, I see you Taylor)

What? actually Taylor could add so many more dates to the 1989 tour, but she is not going to because she is so lazy
