It was under Hot Tracks on the main iTunes page. When it was taken off that it exited the top 1500. But it's a good sign that even just a little bit of promotion could do a lot for the song.

Really love the snippet - even if it is a rather safe choice. Hopefully the promo campaign will be aggressive and the video amazing. Can't believe this will be the first song in almost 6 years that'll be released to HAC/Pop!

Meh that clip didn't really grab me like some of the others. "Fire Under My Feet" and "Power" seem like immediately better choices to me, but I'm just excited to get some new music from her.

Don't think they're aiming for a smash. A moderate hit would be good, given Leona hasn't had one since "Happy" back in 2009. Given how many "generic/plain/boring" songs have gone on to become hits in the US, don't see why "Thunder" can't become one. Especially if it has a good promo stratergy behind it. Hoping for a top 20/30 placing on the Hot 100 and hopefully going gold (500k+). Anything more than that would be amazing imo.

Because UK radio is completely political. If Radio 1 and Capital don't playlist your song, it will likely not be a hit.

This. They have a total monopoly on the charts. I wish we had a US-lite radio system, where songs grow.
