As far as I know, the rest of Europe is doing well and will do whatever it takes to stay together. Greece is the odd one out

I'm so proud to have voted NO. This is a lesson towards the EU.
First of all, let me make this clear to you. EU cannot kick Greece out, actually no country can exit EU unless they ask to. EU cannot kick Greece out of euro either.
The big victory of NO means that EU has to come up with something different than sh**** austerity measures that will NEVER bring progress to our country and that will NEVER give EU money back. It also has to prove that it respects ALL its members, and most of all, democracy.
Politics are about PEOPLE, not numbers. Austerity is destructive, we have 2 millions of people living in poverty and even more people without job.
This is a historic moment. Greek PEOPLE need and demand a change concerning the EU attitude.

Oh that is such ********.
The no higher than 1.5% inflation rule? The 3% deificit rule? Their are based on what the Germans considered to be ideal and what fits their economy.
And when the ECB needs to set its monetary policy, do you think it will be influenced by what the countries like Greece and Spain and Italy needs, or what German, France and The Netherlands are demanding?? There is no fit-all and in practice, the monetary policies in place only benefit the rich countries.
-
Greece is not the only one to blame. It's all of them, for pretending that other countries could actually meet those requirements.

They can't baby. This will not be beneficial AT ALL for you either.
Btw, sooo smart to make bitter, "smart" comments about poverty. You're ridiculous.

81.2% of the vote should be when 50% is crossed by No.

How much solidarity can you keep doing tho? It's not like the rest of Europe will see it's money ever return. It costed every house hold numerous hundreds of Euros per year to keep Greece bailing out. Normally I'd agree with you but you have to draw a line somewhere and if Greece not want to be treated like the outcasts of the Eurozone they better step up to the plate cause so far they shown little progress as where the other countries that were in the same boat improved.

Honestly, this'll be a mess. If Greece refuses to leave, I can see Western Europe calling it quits to establish a new Northern European Union.

I,m not making 'smart' comments, but if they give in to Greece's demands they might as well end the Euro immediately... That member said Greece is the one who can make demands now, but if Europe wants them out they can force them out by not giving them money and just let them starve until they opt out... If this actually works I'm moving to a country outside of the EU, which I never expected to work... If they give in to Greece they are the laughing stock of the global political stage, cuz they can be blackmailed/taken hostage and forced to do a single country's bidding... Why would anyone meet their demands when they can't enforce the rules
