Well, Taylor's 5 albums (along with any EPs and live releases) have sold a cute 36.8M WW opposed to Rihann's 7 selling a bit less than 30 million.
Now, how's that for perspective?
And don't even bring up how much of them were sold stateside 'cause at the end of it all more people own legal copies of Taylor albums than they do of Rihanna (along with significantly better music).

So you admit she's local? Which was the whole point of the argument?
It's so true. They should be comparing 1989 to Unapologetic. Whew! But I mean, I wouldn't want to either.
Funny how Rih was supposed to save the industry!!1! Only to come back and flop. But Taylor is literally the one saving the industry as proven by last night.
rihannafan you don't have to call Rihanna experimental or indie to justify your taste.
I like indie music and I also like Katy Perry and most people consider Katy bubblegum pop (bc that's what she is lol) and Idc I still like Katy. Embrace your pop taste
There's nothing wrong with admitting you like pop music, and there is nothing wrong with liking both alternative/experimental music AND pop music. Bizarre, I know!
