We've definitely heard similar material sonically wise from Tinashe, Jhene, and Kelly Rowland, but I'm not mad. Selena doesn't do anything new with the sound but she pulls it off so well with it that I'm not bothered. The production on this is actually in-credible. Compliments her voice perfectly. Also love how well connected A$AP Rocky's verse and easily it flows in the song. It never feels like it's disrupting the flow of the song.
I just can't get over how much this has blindsided me. This isn't what I was expected or wanted but she's completely slayed me. If she keeps this up, I may just have to get a stan card fitted.
