We all know Lana isn't a powerhouse vocalist, and she may not be the first person you'd expect to do cover a Nina SImone song, but she does it justice. Her vocals sound absolutely stunning and I couldn't imagine the album closing any other way.
"One of the only songs on the album I ALWAYS skip", says Stan. I can understand a rush to get to Black Beauty, but still. Genetic Fail thinks Lana "should have kept this cover under the covers." The bias against covers in this rate is too much, both have already been punched out in the bottom 5. conatus was stanning:"Giving it a 10 because: a) I'm a Nina stan, and b) I know these other tasteless hennies are going to drag it for no reason." He continues bitterly: "I would have thought the gays of ATRL would be here for it considering its subject matter/lyrics!" Well, perhaps that says more about you than them henny! Kang. thinks that it "lyrically works really well following everything that came before it but musically not much of a reason for it to exist, I kinda wish she just didn't." Admittedly, the song did deserve more interesting production to match its excellent lyrics. Finally, Drowned_World comments: "(I'm giving this one a ten just because I know y'all will likely drag it to the pits.)" And so they did, a shame.
