I'm assuming Taylor 'Fearless' was bigger than Rihanna 'Loud' and 'Unapologetic' combined. They just had the hits, while Fearless had the album sales and acclaim.

Alicia had No One and Fallin which were big hits as well, it's not like Alicia didn't have her hits

But the point is you thought it was smart to say Alicia was bigger because she had bigger album sales and acclaim, which acclaim doesn't even measure a bigger artist to begin with since artists like Beck are more acclaimed than Rihanna's existence. You didn't take into count on who was bigger with both singles and albums combined, and I was showing you examples on how stupid it is to just say something is bigger off of album sales with singles not combined into the mix.

Alicia has timeless hits. Fallin', If I Ain't Got You, You Don't Know My Name, No One, Diary, Like You'll Never See Me Again and Girl On Fire still get played on the radio today.

Even her top 30 hits like Unthinkable, Karma amd Try Sleeping with a Breaking Heart still get some airplay.

Not many artist can say the same.
