And here continues the rant time à la Nemo
I've been thinking about my preobems with "Living For Love" (only use the amazing Offer Nissim Remix now)
Neither should LFL have beent he lead single due to its many problems, let's begin:
- biggest issue: it does not even sound like a
Madonna song
- the big background Alicia Keys infringed vocals overshadow everything on the track yet nobody knows ha
- it did not connect with the gp - in my opinion (Despite the 'carrying on after love and breaking up subject something more relatable is missing
- it works so much better as an - DRAG ME - Applause like album closer than as opening track, it just doesn't work as opener. So why a lead signle then
- oh let's not forget the melody is flat compared to other overproduced lead single like Hung Up
- the video is still a blurry beautiful nightmare
//
end of LFL DRAG
now to the FACTS:
meanwhile, BIM has grown on me but since she obviously wanted to start the era with something that gets her back credibility and acclaim, yet something with commercial appeal,
the only right lead single for this era would have been:
REBEL HEART AVICII DEMO
bye bye
babiesbishes
oh and Nemo:
The worst song in ha recording career is still on Hard AttempT titled 'Incredible'
