So it sounds like Oh Honey? I think that's a good thing, they have some great songs.
I'm such a mess, practically crying while reading the great reception it even got over at Pop Justice. I can't wait until June 16th when Josh and I get to join in.
I really like the album! It's light, airy, & fresh. But I just wish there was something like "Between You & Me" on the album (a sassy, dancy jam). BIBO can be too Carly Rae-ish at points.
This. I would've loved the album to be a bit sassier and darker. Other than that, I am in love with it.
I'm not understanding the issue with Stay in Love. That was the first track I immediately loved.
You know what makes me laugh? How RCA pushed Sparks to HAC (barely btw) when Brave Heart, Tattoo, Night Like This and the two bonus tracks would have stood a much better chance. Heck, Lies and My Kind too.
I love the lyric "our edges seemed to fit so perfectly" in Stay in Love and idk why. That is the lyric that has stuck to me the most (from the entire album) in the last few listens.
I will decipher it for you next time I listen to that song Steph.
